Clinical Science Rotation

image.png

This rotation provided valuable exposure to both clinical and academic aspects of dental education, allowing us to explore the impact of intraoral scanners on student assessment and learning outcomes. Through observerships, lectures, and mentorship, we gained firsthand insights into how digital tools are integrated into preclinical training. Our research focused on evaluating how intraoral scanners influence interrater reliability and student self-awareness. These findings contribute to a better understanding of how educational technology can enhance competency-based learning and will inform future curriculum design to better support student success in dental education.
